Perricone MD Cold Plasma Review

I received a few samples of this product from Ulta recently and was beyond excited to try it because of all the great benefits I was hearing about. I used two sample packets which provided me with 2 days worth (morning and night) per packet. My skin is very soft and smooth right now...but the smell. I cannot get over it. Does this product work or is it worth the money?!  I don't know. I really can't stomach the smell enough to try it any longer. I did like the results I had after 4 days so I would say yes it has to give great benefits with repetitive use.

Let me know your thoughts on this products or what other Perricone MD products you like.

Rivera Maya 2015 Shadow Box

The week of St Pattys my boyfriend, I and a whole ton of fun people went to Rivera Maya to celebrate two great friends get married. We had a blast and Tiffany was such a beautiful bride. Mine and Zac's 2 year anniversary happened to land on the day after we got back into the states so I thought it would be sweet to make him a shadow box from our trip. Zac always complains that we don't have many sentimental souviegners from our relationship so I thought this would be a great surprise.

To make this shadow box, I went to Joann's Fabrics and got the thickest shadow box I could find (using my 60% off text coupon!) and a yard of fun Spanish style fabric for the background. I pinned and hotglued all the pieces to the fabric background....I also realized this was a perfect way to rid some paso's that are very useless in the US. Shhh Zac thinks I intentionally did this. Hehe.

He loved it!! I won some major brownie points.

My Condo Renovation

As many of you who know me personally, in 2011 I bought a condo and pretty much changed the whole design elements myself.  I had a blast and put lots of blood, sweat and tears into that place.  I replaced all of the floors, trim, doors, paint, staircase, backsplash, crown molding, granite and closet organizers.  All renovations were done my by father and I except the granite. Granite is from BAGM (Bay Area Granite and Marble) in Green Bay.

I put the condo up for sale in 2013 when I moved into a house with my sweet boyfriend...it was an offer I couldn't resist. :)

Here are some of the before pictures:

Here are some pictures of what it looked like before the condo sold:

Painting Chevron on Tile Floors

One of my favorite projects I did in my condo was painting the ugly, stained tan-yellow ceramic tiles in my master bathroom.  This project took a lot of time and put my bathroom out of commission for about a week.  The fumes were also bad; I would suggest if you do this, open windows.

Paint I used was Glidden floor and porch paint.  I bought a gallon in white and a gallon I had tinted black.  As a protective coating I put on a polyurethane floor coating.

Here is what the bathroom floor looked like before:

I scrubbed the floors very well and then with a foam roller, I laid down two coats of the white paint.  I let it dry about 24 hours in between coats.  After the 2nd coat dried for 24 hours, I started taping out my pattern.  I carefully painted 2 coats of the black paint in-between the tape.  I took the tape off before the 2nd coat was dry.  After the two coats cured for 48 hours, I put on 3 coats of Polyurethane floor coating.  Please see below for my masterpiece.  Yup, loved that bathroom!

Hello all

So...I am back to this blog. My old blog got deleted due to so many spam posts and hacking so I lost all my devoted followers. Sad day. :(.

Throughout the next few days/months I will be trying to repost some of my Diy and beauty product posts so if you happen to find your way back to me and it's all repetitive that is why.

Have a fab day!
